LOD Human Resource Development Corporation - LOD Corp was established in 1992 in the context of the acquisition of Seafarer Export Company under Transport - Post Office Investment Consulting and International Cooperation Services Corporation.
YEAR MAIN ACTIVITIES
1990: Establish Seafarer Export Company, under INTECO, predecessor of LOD
1992: Supply seafarers to work abroad.
1992: Establish Foreign Labor Cooperation Company under Decision No. 2417/QD-TCCB-LĐ dated December 29, 1992 of the Ministry of Transport on the basis of Seafarer Export Company, under INTECO
1994: Establish Southern Branch in Ho Chi Minh City and Center for Employment Development and Tourism Services. In the same year, dispatch interns to Korea. As one of eight Vietnamese companies allowed to send labors for internship in Korea, LOD brought more than 7,000 workers, equivalent to 14% of the number of Vietnamese workers to Korea for internship.
1997: Dispatch interns to Japan.
1999: Supply workers to workshops and factories in Taiwan
2002: Be one of the first companies to send Vietnamese labors to work in Malaysia (so far nearly 6000 workers have been brought to work here).
Receive the third-class Labor Medal awarded by the State.
2005: Launch Foreign Labor Cooperation Joint Stock Company, on the basis of equitization of State enterprise named Foreign Labor Cooperation Company.
Establish:
Eastern branch in Hai Phong City,
Center for Labor - Japanese expert Training and Supply
Center for Tourism and International Cooperation.
2006: Officially apply quality management system TCVN ISO9001:2000 certified by QUACERT.
Establish:
Daietsu Engineering and Technology Limited Joint Venture Company of LOD – OSHIMA – DAIZO.
2007: Receive the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the State.
2008 Inaugurate and put into use LOD Building.
with a total usable area of more than 6000m2 as offices for lease.
Inaugurate the Japan Center Building
at 299 Nguyen Khoai, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi to provide training for interns before coming to Japan to work.
Put into use a high-tech welder training workshop of international standards.
Conduct groundbreaking of LOD College of Engineering and Technology.
2009: With the goal of establishing long-term relationships with employees & becoming a leading unit in providing high-quality human resources.
LOD Foreign Labor Cooperation Joint Stock Company changed its name to:
LOD HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (LOD Corp.).
2012: Open and put into operation LOD Vocational College of Engineering and Technology
2014: Relocate the head office of LOD Human Resource Development Corporation from 38 Tran Thai Tong Street to 924 Bach Dang Street.
